ARTWORK SUBMISSION

Q. How do I upload my artwork? Do you charge for making changes?

A. After adding your product to your cart click on Checkout and an Upload Your Art icon will appear in green at the top of the page allowing you to click/open your browser and attach your print-ready vector art file. You may then return to the Checkout process and submit your Ship To / Bill To information and credit card payment. If you miss this step, another opportunity is available on the Order Confirmation page after checkout OR you can click on the Upload Art link at the bottom of the website. Templates are provided on the product page & at the bottom page of the website at Templates.

If your file is larger than 5mb you may either send a CD/DVD to BearsPrint, P.O. Box 719, Parkton, MD 21120 OR Call 888.503.0997 to get our FTP (file transfer protocol) site address location.

NOTE -
after receipt of your order a Customer Service representative will contact you to review your project/art; a FREE electronic proof will be provided for your approval prior to production. A firm order MUST BE SUBMITTED - either by calling in the order/payment information or submitting your order/art through the website - BEFORE a proof will be provided. If after art submission: A) corrections are required, B) the file quality is poor, C) there are misspellings, etc., we will let you know. We normally do not charge for making minor spelling or text changes; HOWEVER, if design changes and multiple proofs are required additional charges will be billed at $50.00/hour...minimum 1 hour. Don't worry...we won't print it until you approve it!

Q.  What types of art files do you accept?


A.  You may either e-mail, send a CD, upload during checkout or post to our FTP site the following vector print-ready Mac or PC formats: QuarkXpress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Pagemaker, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat (PDF) or CorelDraw. We do NOT accept art files created using Microsoft desktop applications such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Powerpoint, or Microsoft Publisher. When submitting art with text, make sure the fonts are either embedded or outlined. If the print copy on your product runs off of the edges ("bleeds" in print terms) make sure the copy extends 1/8" past the final size of your finished product.



Q. What do I do if my job requires a precise color match?

A. An electronic proof will be provided for your approval on ALL orders; however, if time permits and you prefer a digital printed color proof, one may be provided. For exact matches or if you want to see how your graphics will look on the product before it is produced, we recommend ordering a color press proof. Press proofs are costly since they require the inking of the press and a small production of the finished job. For color press proof pricing, please contact your BearsPrint sales representative.
SHIPPING INFORMATION

Q. When will my order ship?

A. Most orders ship in 2-7 working days after proof approval unless otherwise stated. Turn time does not start until proof approval is received.
 

Q. Who Will Be Delivering My Order?

 
A. For most orders, UPS or FedEx Ground will deliver your order. For larger shipments, we use a freight carrier that is determined at the time the project is ready to ship. If you have a dock at your facility please let us know...inside delivery is NOT included for freight carrier shipments and will be charged. Expedited delivery service - 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air - is available for an additional charge. 
 
BILLING, PAYMENT, CHARGES & RETURNS

Q. What methods of payment do you accept?

A. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover as well as Google Checkout. We can accept personal / company checks for Corporate Accounts with approved credit, Net30 Day terms. Credit card information may needed as a back-up form of payment even with approved credit. For a Credit Application contact customer service. If paying by Credit Card please ensure the Billing address field contains the address that your credit card statement is mailed to.
 

Q. Will I receive an overrun with my order? 

A. Due to the nature of hi-speed presses, a 10% over OR under run of product may occur. Orders placed through the website will not be charged for additional amounts received. Customers placing their orders off-line may receive a maximum of 10% over or under run of order quantity and will be charged according to what ships.

Q. Do you charge Sales Tax on orders?

A. BearsPrint collects sales tax for orders shipped to Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, & the District of Columbia. Sales tax in all other states is the customer's responsibility. 

Q. How much do you charge for shipping & handling?
 

A. For orders placed on-line, BearsPrint offers free ground shipping to one location inside the continental United States for our standard web products.  Depending on your product, your order may ship via UPS, FedEx or truck freight carrier (dock access required for truck freight carrier / inside delivery fee may be additional). Orders for items outside of our standard web product offering may be charged freight.

Q. Can I change the shipping method after I have placed an order?

A. As long as your order has not shipped, you can change the shipping method.

Q. Is your website secure?

A. BearsPrint provides customers with a secure ordering process using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. All of your personal and payment information is encrypted and transferred via a secure server.

Q. Do you share or sell my contact information?

A. No, customer information is for internal use only. BearsPrint will not sell or release customer information unless otherwise notified in writing by a customer. 



Q. If I forgot my Password, how can I retrieve it?

A. Your password can be retrieved by entering your user name at the My Account button found at the top of the BearsPrint homepage. After entering your user name, click on 'Forgot Password’ and an email will be sent to you with your password.

Q. If I am already a registered user, how do I change addresses and other information?

A. You can log on to your account and make any changes to your account information. Any changes will become effective immediately.
